Final Battle 2008, Ring of Honor’s final show of the year, took place Saturday night at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City. I read that this was a very strong card, although it was marred a bit by Austin Aries punching out a ringside fan. Here are the results:
Kenny Omega beat Claudio Castagnoli with a rollup.
Jerry Lynn beat Necro Butcher, Chris Hero and Rhett Titus in a Four Corner Survival match after a Cradle Piledriver on Hero.
Kevin Steen and El Generico beat Jimmy Jacobs and Delirious to retain the ROH World Tag Team Titles.
Brent Albright, Roderick Strong and Erick Stevens beat the American Wolves & Go Shiozaki in a New York City Street Fight when Shiozaki tapped out to Albright’s Crowbar submission.
The Briscoe Brothers beat Kensuke Sasaki and Katsuhiko Nakajima.
Austin Aries beat Tyler Black after botched interference from Jimmy Jacobs.
Nigel McGuinness beat Naomichi Marufuji with the Jawbreaker Lariat to retain the ROH World Title.
Bryan Danielson beat Takeshi Morishima in a Fight Without Honor after Morishima passed out in the Cattle Mutilation.
