Trade Winds Blowing For Knicks, Rangers

The N.B.A. will be holding its draft on Thursday night at Madison Square Garden. The New York Knicks will most likely be active in the hopes of moving up from the eighth position. Right now many mock drafts have the Knicks selecting U.C.L.A. point guard Jrue Holiday, however, they may hope to move up so that they can select either Stephen Curry or Ricky Rubio. New York is also said to like Arizona's Jordan Hill.

Meanwhile, next weekend the N.H.L. Draft takes place and it is being described as being very deep in terms of the number of talented players. The Rangers select 19th, while the New York Islanders have the number one pick which they will use to take super prospect, John Tavares. Could the Rangers be in the market for disgruntled Ottawa forward Dany Heatly? We'll see. Heatly is unhappy with what he perceives as his diminished role with the Senators, particularly on the power play where he is playing on the second unit.
