Monday Night Raw Thoughts

Last night’s Monday Night Raw from Washington, D.C. produced a solid show with Shaq as the guest host. Shaq and Big Show stared each other down, literally, to open the show. which set up the final match of Raw when Cryme Tyme beat unified tag team champions Chris Jericho & Big Show by disqualification when Shaq got involved.

Other matches and thoughts:
John Cena beat The Miz so Cena will now face WWE Champion Randy Orton at SummerSlam.

Evan Bourne beat Jack Swagger.
I was surprised by the fact that Bourne won and how quickly he pinned Swagger. What was the point of teasing a Swagger-Orton match at SummerSlam?

Hornswoggle def. Chavo Guerrero in a Blindfold Match.
Chavo deserves better and so do the fans.

Triple H vs. Cody Rhodes.
Hunter couldn’t beat Cody quickly enough.

U.S. Champion Kofi Kingston beat The Brian Kendrick.
Kendrick was distracted by Jerry Lawler. They have absolutely ruined Kendrick.

MVP vs. Chris Masters ended in double count-out.
I have no idea where they are going with MVP and am less than enthused to see the "master of boredom" back in the W.W.E. .

Mickie James, Kelly Kelly & Gail Kim beat Beth Phoenix, Alicia Fox & Rosa Mendes.
Whatever.

Mark Henry defeated Carlito and set the time to beat.
Henry’s time stood until the end when Cena beat it.
