Fight fans can rejoice now that Top Rank promoter Bob Arum has finally gotten a deal done for a bout between Manny Pacquiao and W.B.O. Welterweight Champ Miguel Cotto.
The match will take place at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas on Nov. 14.
Of course, Bob Arum, is a great promoter in much the same way that P.T. Barnum was, so this may just all be smoke and mirrors.
Assuming Pac-Man wins and Floyd Mayweather Jr. defeats Juan Manuel Marquez in September, we could have a dream matchup between Mayweather and Pacquiao a year from now.
